The Slippery Rock University Music Department is proud to host the 12th Annual Honors Flute Ensemble for outstanding flute students on February 21 and 22, 2026.
Interested students should submit the following materials by Saturday, January 10, 2026:
1. Completed Application
2. Recorded Audition
3. Required Fees *Non-refundable $20.00 audition fee.
*Additional clinician fees apply if selected.
RECORDED AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must submit a YouTube link. *Do not talk on any of the recordings.
Files should be labeled as follows: first name, last name, repertoire, followed by HFE2026. (e.g. SarahSmithRepertoireHFE2026)
Sonata for Flute and Piano by Paul Hindemith, Movements 1 and 4 only
OR
ANY solo flute repertoire required for your local district or state honors band or orchestra.
*piano accompaniment NOT required
